To explore the boundaries between art and textiles i am going to look at work by: Yinka Shonibare, Tracey Emin, Louise Bourgeouis, Shelly Goldsmith, Janette Appleton, Lisa Gallecher. At A level
I studied both Fine Art and Art Textiles. I am interested in the fluidity of
language between these two disciplines by comparisons between Tracey
Emin / Louise Bourgeoise and Shelly Goldsmith and me. Starting Points for research between barriers of art and textiles, research
the work of listed artists, research
'Art textiles 2' exhibition, and to consider
the change in language of both disciplines and the perception of both disciplines.
