Everyone I have ever slept with ...

Researching into the work of Tracey Emin, I found 'Everyone I have ever slept with - 1963-1995' (1995). As with all Emin's work, this piece is up close and personal and again as with most of Emin's work it is making the private public. I  particularly enjoy the thought of men having to crawl into the womb like interior of the tent to see the names embroidered on the inside walls.
This piece plays with the boundaries between Art and Textiles, issues and identity, public and private.
